*sigh*
Our photography instructor sent us home with the chemicals and equipment for developing our film so that we could come to class on Tuesday with our negatives ready to enlarge. We had developed some film already in class so I was pretty sure what to do.
One of the first steps is to take the temperature of the chemicals and set the developing time accordingly. I did so, and noticed that it was 18 degrees Celsius. Being the non-attentive person I am, when I looked at the chart to see if that was a good temperature for the film, my mind automatically read the paper to say that I needed to heat it up to 28 degrees.
I took forever waiting for the chemicals to heat up with a warm water bath. I put the first chemical in and re-checked the sheet and it said at the very top "Black and white film should not be processed at a temperature higher than 25 degrees Celsius." I had miss read the 18 on the chart as 28. *sigh* Hopefully the film will be gracious and still work..... I have to wait a whole hour for it to dry before I will know how ruined it is. Please. Oh, Please work. : (
I have got to pay MORE attention.
*sigh*
