At one of our co-ops, I'm taking a financial class.... yay. Learning things like budgeting and saving and that sort of stuff is all well and good, but the reason for saving money is very important. Saving money for the sake of being a good steward of the gifts that God has given to you is waaaaaaaaaay different than saving so that you can be rich. The curriculum that we are using begins with the mindset of trying to "build wealth", which kind of bugs me cause it doesn't really seem to fit in with the helping your neighbor stuff.... but then again..... I guess by saving alot you will be able to help your neighbor when they need it, but then you might run into the problem of working so hard to have money saved that you don't help your neighbor...... You shouldn't be in debt.... but you shouldn't hoard wealth either..... I don't know.... I guess I'll have it figured all out sometime......
Anyways, we have to do "Case Studies". Which means we are given a senario and we have to write what we would advise the person to do. All right. My senario was easy enough. I wrote out my sentence long answer.
Oh, look.
We have to answer the senario in TWO paragraphs not one sentence.
Bother.
Hmmmm...... How in the world can you write two paragraphs on that?????? Do two sentences work as a paragraph?
