Can't sleep. Yay.
Here is an excerpt from the Carleton college brochure that I am not sure why I am reading right now. It is written by one of the film producers of the LotR trilogy that apparently went to Carleton.
"Frodo Baggins might have gone to Carleton. He has an intellectual curiosity and he learns to speak other languages- two forms of Elvish.
" For me, many parts of [the Lord of the Rings] films are about tolerance and openness to other cultures and societies. The whole fate of Middle Earth hinges upon there cultures joining together to fight evil. A liberal arts education goes a long way toward promoting tolerance. And what better place to get a liberal arts education than Carleton?"

Is that the Carleton that's just about an hour's ice skate down the canal from me?
and then the ice melts and everyone on it falls in and as they sink the ice freezes again over the top of them.
Did you make that up?!?
That is weird!
