FOR YOU

Today we sang LSB 458 as one of our communion hymns. Whenever I hear it, it brings me back to the sactuary at Ridgecrest, NC. During the Higher Things confrence, Sarah and K N sang in the choir, so while the choir met before the service, I (and usually OFHP) would sit below them ans listen to them practice. It was so beautiful! I can still hear Mr. LaCroix correcting them on how to roll their r's. I also remembering thinking that the organist was really good. How funny to think that it was Mrs. R.

This being out first conference, we didn't know anyone and everything was so new and different. I had never heard the Magnificant before FOR YOU. We roomed with two people from, I think it was, South Carolina, Emilie and Bessie. One of the funniest things was the night we spent with the AC turned up really high, and everyone was too polite to mention it or turn it off.

I really enjoyed Pr. Pauls indepth on the End Times, for that was something that had been intrigueing me for quite sometime, and I had never had it explained clearly from an orthodox view before. That indepth, along with the Breakaway session on the AntiChrist really helped me. It was wonderful to be able to be fed three of more times a day, as we were able to go to Matins, vespers, evining prayer, and compline.
