We spent several days on the Baltic sea in a little town called Nida. There were many boats in the harbor.

Country Roads

Today was so lovely that I braved taking my camera with me when I went biking. Unfortunately, the photos don't do justice to the beauty of the blue sky and the sunshine. You can't see how the sunlight was dancing through the leaves over the road or hear the redwing black birds sing beside the pond or smell the newly plowed dirt. : ( Oh well.

A Fishy Sort of Day

Since we aren't going to be away from home for the rest of vacation, we are going on several day trips instead. This afternoon we went up to the Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery. We took our two neighbors J. and M. The boys were inthralled by the large fish that they could see in the veiwing pond. When we were taken on a tour of the hatchery part where they actauly keep the fish, it smelled really bad.

The best part was that they had some butterfly bush outside the visitors center so I was able to photograph the butterflies that were on it.
