I have it! Can't believe it took me this long to think of it! Ok, when our Overly Fun H- Person has her surgery after Amen, then Mi Perito is going to take her to Physical therapy. Since our dear OFHP doesn't exactly live in the nicest neighborhood, it would greatly relieve our parents if it was not just one person traveling alone to OFHP's house and back.
Thus I have thought of an ingenious plan to alieve (I know that is spelled wrong) our parent's anxiety. Who better to send with my dear sister than someone who knows kickboxing, can use a cell phone, and will die for the honour of my beloved Perito. I propose that I accompany her as she treks to and from the house of our adored OFHP. While Perito takes her to physical therapy, I can clean her house and make supper for her and stuff that she can heat up for breakfast and dinner for the next couple days!!!!!!

Never Mind
Ok, I am going with the family.
I guess cleaning the house will have to wait until some other time when I can get the whole family away for a day.... or TWO days!!! Now that would be extremely awesome!!

Plaster
Dad has this tiny house that he is fixing up, where we have been putting up drywall along with the help of Sedrick. Today Dad is going to teach us how to plaster, so then Sarah and I will be working on that this summer.
Once the plaster is done we get to paint it!!!! First the first coat of white, and then we actually get to paint it colors!!!!!!
The bedroom will be light lilac purple,
the living room will be a light green,
the bathroom white with burgundy trimming,
and the kitchen will be blue and white.
Sadly, Miss Nan and Bunny don't agree with me :(
One note, this is almost a hobbit sized house. (I can almost touch the ceiling in the kitchen) Some of you [tall people :)] would knock your heads on the rafters, the ceiling is so low.

Should she stay, should she go?
Should I go with Mom and Dad for Dad's Church that he grew up in's reunion, or should I stay home and do the chores?
If I go we will have to take two vehicles, and if I stay, they might have to anyways.
And if they do take two vehicles should I still stay to do the chores in the morning and the evening.
If they take one vehicle then only three of us kids can go, but if they take two, then Mom and Dad and Grandpa and Grandma won't be able to talk together for the 3 hour trip up.
If Miss Nan and Bunny really want to go and we take one vehicle than Sarah and Matt have to decide which of them gets to go.
If Sarah is the other one to stay than I wouldn't have to milk the goats, but she wants to go more than Matt does.
If Matt stays than he could milk instead of me, but he should go, cause he hardly remembers Grandma and Grandpa's house that they owned before they moved here in 2002.If I and who ever else stays home doesn't go, than we might never see the church that Dad grew up in, but if I go, than the whole family will have to wake up really, really early so that they can get the chores done before they leave on Sunday morning.
If I stay I will be able to go to church, but if I go I will get to meet lots of people that Dad has told us about.
If I go, than I might get car sick and be miserable, but if I stay I might (oh horror) be able to clean the house without little people messing it up immediately!!!!!!
I think I'll stay!
But wait, what if something important happens at the reunion and I missed it?
UGGGGGGGGGGG!
I cant make up my mind. :(

Paradox
Lord Caversham: That is a paradox sir. I hate paradoxes
Lord Goring: So do I father. Everybody one meets is a paradox nowadays. It is agreat bore. It makes society so obvious.
from Oscar Wilde's play "An Ideal Husband"

Germanicus
The stadium in Smyrna was full of shouting people. All around there was could be heard the sound of laughing, as if today was a day of joy. In the middle stood a young man; a young man in his prime of life; a young man who still had so much yet to live for; a young man whose whole life would be ended in a few short minutes. All he must do to save his life is to utter a simple sentence, nay, simply a few small words, and he would go free. Around him was heard a new sound, a creaking of the heavy doors which has thus far withheld the angry beasts. The crowd was pleased. Ah, here was a frightened young Christian. They savored the death of fearful victims. The lions slowly advanced upon him, crouching ready to pounce. For a moment he stood still, as though he was afraid, but the Holy Spirit urged him on, dispelling all his fear of death, for he knew he was God's child and he would see the face of Christ, not because of his merit, but because Christ had suffered and died for him, the young man boldly encouraged the lions, which soon had slaughtered him. When the crowd saw this they were furious. Enraged by the courage that Christ had given the young man, the crowed began calling out for the bishop of Smyrna to be found and burned. And so ensued the death of Polycarp.
Anyways, that was one of the reasons for Polycarp's martyrdom.

Shrimp
I'm so terribly hungry right now, cause we had shrimp for supper, and shrimp makes me sick, so I couldn't eat it. We did also have rice, but even that was shrimp-filtrated, the only thing that did not have the taste of seafood on it was a piece of dry bread. :( Yuck :P
:) But I shall live. :)
Anyways, tomorrow should be fun. Today I manged to make approximately 40 (deformed) hot dog buns and 40 hamburg buns for lunch on Sunday. (please don't be upset anyone that I didn't make rolls for the bake sale, I really do have a good reason) Dad was off, so Miss Nana and Bunny and I were able to play badminton with him after supper. I guess you couldn't exactly call it "playing badminton", basically we hit the birdie back and forth (and missed hitting it).
While we were playing Mom and the other dear brother went fishing, and came back with four fish: a sunfish, a crappie, a perch, and blue gill. He was so excited, these being some of the first fish he has caught since last summer.
Oh, and note to little brothers all over the world: please don't ask your teenage sisters what the red spot on their face is. It isn't exactly a safe thing to do.

A camera lens

Isn't that really awesome? I love how the background is blurry while the front is crisp and focused. (note: it doesn't look as focused after it was uploaded as the actual photo does)
I think this is one of my favorite photos. It was taken at the MSU gardens, which are extremely beautiful in the summer when all the flowers are blooming

'Tis Over
It was pretty awesome, cause not only did BOTH of our pastors come, but more of the youth than we expected, AND our two nannies, Darleen and Teacher Faye, who took took care of us for almost six years, AND my favorite teacher from when Sarah and used to go to a private school. I'm so happy, 'cause neither Sarah or Mom cried during the ceremony! Yes!
During the reception, I was sitting with the Overly Fun Person, and this lady from our home school co-op came up, and gave me a hug saying, "you did such a good job". For a moment I was bewildered, and finally guessed she must be talking about the dresses I made for the graduation. Then she continued to comment on something, I can't exactly remember what exactly. After a while I was pretty certain that she had mistook me for Sarah, but I didn't exactly know how to tell her that without making her feel bad. As long as she talked in a way that could be truthfully answered by me, then I wouldn't have to say anything. It became certain that she thought she was talking to Sarah when she said "so I hear you have been taking classes at ____". Not exactly knowing how to say it, but knowing I couldn't truthfully respond to this one, I politely, or at least tried to make it polite, said, "Um, I'm not Sarah."

Bovine without Constraints
This morning our cow somehow managed to get out of the pasture, might have to do with the gate being left open last night, and found his way to the road, where, thankfully, some gentleman stopped and got the cow into the yard shut the gate and came and told us. So Mom and I jumped out of bed, well at least Mom did, I was already up and getting the milk for my baby goats, and had the fun task of getting the cow down the hill and into the pasture. This cow does not like being led, and he is hardly halter-broke, and he weighs a good five hundred pounds, so if he decides that he is going somewhere you had better either let go, or get dragged along side of him. Oh, and he had been running around our house for a long time, so he was extremely sweaty and that was just gross.

How I feel
".... he had beside a shocking cold. For three days he sneezed and coughed, and he could not go out, and even after that his speeches at banquets were limited to 'Thag you very buch'".

A long dark tunnel
So tired I think I will fall asleep on my feet. Still have to finish the display board and make three dozen cookies, and finish making the card for the other graduates, AND finish the bookmark things that Sarah wants me to make. Oh, and to add to all that, either I'm having a very bad allergic reaction to the grass pollen, or I coming down with a cold. Let's hope it is the former. So if I'm not there tomorrow, then you know that either I'm sick or I dropped with exhaustion.
:( And I was even going to get to pass out the programs :'(

When your brothers have the room next to you
Since the boys room is next to mine, when they open the door so fast that it slams into the wall, it knocks things off my shelf, and there is nothing nicer than having the rocks that you have collected and stored nicely in their own compartments come falling down off the wall like rain. They also like run up and down the hallway, and it gets even better when Dad joins them for "Tickle Time" SLAM, (he he), PATTER, patter, patter, their foot steps get quieter as they move on in the house and then they turn around, patter, patter, patter, (he he he), PATTER, and once again, SLAM, (he he he)! M. also uses a flashlight to read during the night, and it shines on the wall across from our rooms casting shadows. However great the disadvantages to having the boys room next to yours, it also can be quite soothing to listen to the boys as they begin to wind down for the night. We all sleep with our doors open at night, and hence, I can hear the boys quietly chatting with each other as they drift off to sleep. I hear all about B-747s (which actually do happen to be pretty awesome planes) and things that happened during the day; about how the cow did this and their goats did that and M. found a butterfly and Bunny forgot his tool set. The sweetest thing is when M. reads books aloud to Bunny, for he has a different sort of voice when he does it, sort of a hushed soft sing-song voice, as if acknowledging the fact that all the house is asleep. Once Bunny drifts off, M. again returns to his beloved book “100 Best Stories of WWII”, reading sometimes until eleven, and till he can keep his open no longer or Dad comes and tells him to put his book away and get some sleep. And then to hear the sounds of little brothers sleeping, M’s heavy snore and Bunny’s quiet soft snore, the squeak of their bed as they turn in the night, and the loud thud of books falling off the top bunk when M. forgets to put it away before he goes to sleep.

Things you should never do
1. Read the ingredients of bologna at the same time you eat a bologna sandwich
(does "mechanically separated chicken" sound delicious to you?)
2. Make rolls and chat at the same time
3. Give something to someone and expect them to remember where they put it
4. Ask Sarah to do something simple but that has anything to do with words
A mountain out of a Mole hole
I just need Sarah to chose 10 verses and 10 hymns for something for graduation. And how long should that take? Certainly not the three hours she has spent on them! She doesn't even need to type them out! I can't do anything more until she gets them to me! UGGGGGGGGGGGG! Come on Sarah!
One more thing done
Now I have Sarah's booklet of all her graduation photos almost done. All that remains to finish it is one sheet of black construction paper, that mom is going to pick up on her way to the rehearsal t0night. Once that is completed we have to make a booth display to put on Sarah's table. Also Mom forgot to tell me she volunteered me to make two dozen or so cookies. Don't you love reading a list of volunteers and discovering that you are on it with out knowing it?

Sarah bakes a spice cake
The roar of the electric mixer could be heard throughout the house as my favorite older sister whipped the ingredients in the bowl.
After whipping for a minute, she set down her beater, and turned to look at the recipe.
“Oh no”, She gasped., “I creamed the butter with the EGGS instead of with the SUGAR!” looking at me she added, “I hope it doesn't make a difference.”
With that she continued with the cake.
Once again, I was startled by yet another yell of panic. “OH, NO!!!! I just added to much milk to the batter!!!” After which, she immediately she broke into song, “Oh, I am a Pirate King, and it is it is a glorious thing to be a pirate king....”
“Oh”, she said interrupting her song, “Can I use brown sugar in the cake?”
After several more episodes of “Oh, No....” , she decided, “Oh, I guess I’m not thinking real great this morning. I guess I better call this cake a flop and start over.
(She ended up baking it anyways and it turned out alright. I guess forgetting things when cooking runs in the family )
